Acuvue 2 is the follow-up to Acuvue. The improved edge profile makes the lens more comfortable, and the lens is slightly thinner than normal monthly disposables, thus allowing more oxygen to pass through to the eye.
This lens can be used either as a two-week lens where the lens is taken out
and cleaned every evening, or as a one-week lens where it is used continuously for the entire week. However, the length of time for which the lenses should be worn varies from person to person, and many opticians also prescribe Acuvue as a monthly disposable lens. It is therefore important that you always follow your optician’s instructions.
